Robotics Programs

Design the world around you! In our Robotics programs, kids will design, plan, program, and build electronic inventions while using an electronic robotics microcontroller and learning how to code. Kids will better understand how everyday objects around them work and will have the opportunity to bring their ideas to life.

The microcontrollers we use are used by industry professionals.

Kids make electronic creations that they previously could have only dreamed of. Code a ‘robot brain’ to make something awesome. Kids get to see the results of their code right before their eyes. They realize that they can make things that others can use. Kids exercise creativity by developing project ideas, learn to design projects for specific user needs, and give and receive feedback on their designs

Skills Learned: Self-Confidence, Creativity, Teamwork, Coding, Electronics, Math, Reading, Writing, Design

Coding Programs

When kids code, they take complex problems and break them down into smaller parts. Kids learn what it’s like to approach a problem the way a software engineer does, with logical, computational thinking. As a parent you may not even realize your kid is implementing coding and problem-solving while playing games like Minecraft and Roblox, it brings traditional coding logic to a kid-friendly user interface but with high engagement. Our coding classes aim to do just that.

For many developers, part of the appeal of coding is the challenge and reward of seeing their code come to life after a good debugging session. With the easy and fun environment used in our coding classes, they can do just that! While programming is logic-based, it’s also an extremely creative activity. If you know how to code, you can develop your own apps, video games, websites, and more that can lead to our Maker Club.

Maker Programs

In the evolving world of adolescent education, we as parents sometimes forget the importance of allowing our kids to apply the knowledge and skills they worked so hard to acquire. So often for example we see graduates in engineering and science missing the basic skills to apply their knowledge on paper to the real world, and that’s what makes the difference from a successful student to a career professional.

In our new Maker club, we are inviting students who not only have the prerequisite knowledge from our design and programming classes, but have the desire to apply them into the real world and possibly try their hand at an up-and-coming start-up or business. This club will focus on a project-based learning environment, where students pitch ideas that solve a problem or need in today’s world, use their Design, programming and 3D-printing skills to then create a selling product.

Parents Feedbacks

“My daughter is part of a Vex robotics competitive team at this club. The coaches have continually encouraged and supported her to set challenging goals for herself, to incrementally improve coding and mechanics, and to work hard together with her team. Great learning experience in a fun environment!”

Brianna Quest, Parent

“My kid is 7 years old, it is the first time for him to learn scratch and code monkey, but he is really enjoying having class and finishing each project/assignment after class! Thanks for teachers hardworking and guidance!”

Ann Li, Parent

“My son is a G2 boy, He took the Scratch & Code Monkey class, he likes the program. It is fun and he learned a lot from the class during the summer. Recommended courses!!”
